Abstract :
A versatile design for the vertical coupling between stacked ARROW-B waveguides is proposed and demonstrated. This structure uses a crossing configuration and has large tolerance against the lateral offset of the stacked waveguides. Over 90% coupling efficiencies for both TE and TM polarisations have been achieved
