Abstract :
Web services-based systems architectures could allow for the decomposition of a business process and its applications into modules that communicate and interact with one another. Effectively decoupling these software modules to make them more independent and properly encapsulating functionality within the modules would have several advantages. However service-provider support, semantic coherence, and workflow management are required for Web services to realize their potential.
