Abstract :
GaAs/AlGaAs two-dimensional quantum-well wire laser arrays fabricated by metal-organic chemical vapour deposition on nonplanar substrates have realised a linear light pulse output power of over 100 mW. This is the highest figure reported to date for all kinds of quantum-well wire lasers
