  • Abstract
    We develop an iterated histogram modification algorithm for enhancing gray images. The modified image has very few gray levels corresponding to the spikes found. A process of sharpening the peaks on the histogram of an image is considered using an iterative process where large bins increase at the expense of nearby smaller bins
