Abstract :
In this issue, editors Keith Farkas and Guerney Hunt look at wireless applications for finding Wi-Fi hotspots and for tracking schoolchildren in Japan. They also review a PC for the world and several new components: two Internet communicators (ICs) for improving PC security and trust, a smart secure digital memory card, an IC to more easily bring digital TV to mobile phones, and a promising display technology.
