Abstract :
An analysis of the wave propagation in a rectangular waveguide containing pseudochiral Ω slab is presented in this letter. Approximate continuity conditions modeling a thin Ω plate are introduced to simplify the analysis. The problem Is solved by the mode-matching procedure. A notable field displacement phenomenon appearing in the guide owing the pseudochirality properties is studied. Another feature such as a weak perturbation of the dispersion characteristics of the isotropic guide by pseudochirality introduced into the medium is also discussed
