Abstract :
The author discusses the latest developments in the aerospace industry. These include: the new Boeing 777 jetliner, the preparation of new launch vehicles in Japan and Europe (H-2 and Ariane-5 respectively), the merger of Martin Marietta and Lockheed, the first flight of Eurofighter 2000, and the Ballistic Missile Defense Organisation´s Clementine probe to the Moon
