Abstract :
A method for obtaining the Fourier transform of a synthetic aperture radar reflectivity map is described where the reflectivity map itself does not need to be produced from the radar data. The procedure essentially rearranges a sequence of numerical integrations in such a manner that allows one or more numerical integration to be replaced by a closed-form expression involving Fresnel integrals
