Abstract :
Next-generation multiprocessors will be deployed as servers in a multimedia environment. Current servers cannot handle multimedia traffic internally and effectively deliver the network´s high bandwidth to the processing and storage subsystems. Three proposed scalable, subsystem-based, multimedia server architectures use ATM to tackle this problem
