Abstract :
In a recent issue of IT Professional, Colin Neill and Ganesh Shanmuganthan\´s article ("A Web-Enabled Plagiarism Detection Tool/ IT Professional, Sept.-Oct. 2004, pp. 19-23) provided an overview of plagiarism detection products and services as an introduction to a description of their own system. The authors discussed the problem of plagiarism at all levels of academia - undergraduate, graduate, and unfortunately, even among authors of articles submitted to scholarly journals. Although scholarly authors and, to some degree, graduate students don\´t deserve any special consideration when it comes to plagiarism, there are other factors to consider when discussing "plagiarism" among undergraduate students.
