Abstract :
Special section on peripheral neural interfaces of "IEEE transaction on neural systems and rehabilitation engineering" was presented in this paper. Seven papers from special theme of authors that would hopefully increase the interest in this field were presented covering different noninvasive and invasive applications and important technological developments for neural prostheses developments.
