Abstract :
Establishes a globally convergent algorithm for discrete time model reference adaptive systems, an extension of the classical decreasing gain algorithm. Using this approach, the process, in adaptive control, may contain zeros outside the unit circle if the external reference signal is a solution of a linear homogeneous difference equation
