Abstract
The Koch fractals beyond the third iteration take on complex geometrical shapes and thus are difficult to implement. The possible solution to achieving high performance in antennas and to alleviate implementation issues is the use of partial Koch fractals. The introduction of partial boundaries to triangular patches results in antenna designs with high gain (9.44 dBi), low sidelobe levels (≤ - 20 dB), and improved return loss (- 59dB). The design antenna can be used in applications such as indoor LANs, GSM booster units etc.
