Abstract :
Probe-type electrostatic sensors provide a novel and promising way to realize nondestructive and on-line condition monitoring of heat engines. However, further researches are still needed in analyzing the sensors´ sensing capability. In this paper, the concept of special dynamic sensitivity is proposed, which provides a more reasonable and practical description of the sensors´ sensitivity. Meanwhile, a simulative 3-D model with high fidelity was built to explain and achieve a detailed analysis of probe-type electrostatic sensors´ spatial dynamic sensitivity.
