Abstract :
Based on characteristics of sparsity and significance of the narrowband interference (NBI) signal in the fast Fourier transform domain even at sub-Nyquist sampling rate, a novel NBI detection and mitigation scheme is proposed. An orthogonal matrix for projecting the discrete-time NBI signal into a zero vector is derived. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme can greatly improve the signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio.
