Abstract :
A new type of DRO using whispering gallery modes is presented. The circuit realised in planar technology is characterised using the finite element method. This global electromagnetic analysis enables the output power and the oscillation frequency to be calculated. Theoretical and experimental results are compared for a DRO operating at 15.6 GHz
