Abstract :
A magnetically tunable superconducting half-wavelength microstrip resonator loaded with an yttrium iron garnet single crystal is demonstrated experimentally. Broadband tunability of 1.8 GHz (from 6.62 to 8.42 GHz) was observed and a quality factor of 1066 with a minimum insertion loss of 15.5 dB was measured at 77 K for the YIG magnetised longitudinally along microwave propagation
