Abstract
Two digitally implemented control strategies are described for the full-bridge, phase-shift controlled DC-DC power converter with an active clamp. The controller parameters are adjusted online according to a pre-defined schedule in order to obtain invariant transient behaviour across the converter operating range. The scheduling regime is determined from a sampled-data small-signal model of the converter. Practical results are included for a 2.5 kW, 50 kHz system employing a TMS320C31 digital signal processor as the controller
