Abstract :
The magnitude of photocurrent generated in a resonant cavity enhanced pin photodetector embedded within the top or bottom distributed Bragg reflector of a vertical cavity laser is predicted using a characteristic matrix formalism. Modelling results for an example device emitting at 650 nm are presented and discussed
