Abstract :
The paper presents two new three-phase AC/single-phase AC power converters with resonant DC links suitable for feeding single-phase loads working in the frequency domain from several kHz to several tens of kHz. The power losses due to the commutation process of the switching devices comprising the output inverter of the power converters are drastically reduced and the resonant pulses have small du/dt values, allowing a high electromagnetic compatibility of the proposed converters. Moreover, the command strategy of the original DC link circuit gives the possibility of achieving very small overvoltages on the DC bus. Finally, experimental results are presented for verification
