Abstract :
On 19 September 2009, I attended the Region 7, IEEE Canada Student Conference held in suburbs of Toronto, Ontario. This conference, attended by Student Branch leaders from various universities in Canada (ranging from University of British Columbia in the west to Memorial University of Newfoundland in the east) was a day-and-a-half of talks, discussions, an ethics competition, and branch leadership training. IEEE student leaders attending this conference learned about the IEEE organization worldwide, heard from the vice president of the Member and Geographic Activities, discussed SPAC/SPAA event organizations, and had some fun.
