Abstract :
The surface acoustic wave (SAW) and pseudo SAW parameters in the GdCa4O(BO3)3 crystal were measured for the first time. For SAW, the largest electromechanical coupling coefficient of about 0.3% and a velocity of 3215 m/s were obtained for the ZX orientation, while for the pseudo SAW, the above parameters were about 1.3% and 3591 m/s, respectively, for the XY orientation
