Abstract
This paper particularly introduces error model, theory, algorithm of the unknown thru calibration technique, and shows why the thru standard has an approximate delay expression. Experiment for coaxial non-insertable device has been processed showing that the unknown thru calibration technique has a great increase in the measurement accuracy and consistency.
