Abstract
The ground scattering property of open-area test site (OATS) has an important influence on electromagnetic measurements. This article has given a carefully analysis on a practical OATS´s scattering property. The result indicates that the given ground at X-band has a strong backward scattering at the positions of slits and bolts. And based on the result an experiment has been presented to decrease the backward scattering at the slits. The result indicates that the method is feasible.
