Abstract :
The freedom in the definition of a time-varying transfer function is formalized by introducing the generalized Weyl correspondence, which includes Zadeh´s (1950) function and the Weyl symbol. For slowly time-varying linear systems with properly limited memory (underspread LTV systems) we prove the asymptotic validity of the multiplicative transfer function calculus
