  • Abstract
The Quality Factor (Q) is probably one of the most important figure of merit for Mode-Stirred Chambers (M-S.C.) by its ability to quantify losses. The losses mechanisms intervening in the Q-factor of the present work are twofold: losses due to the antennas and losses due to the walls. Few experimental data have been published on the laws observed and followed for these losses with frequency [1, 2]. In the present work we expose experimental data showing the effect of loading a M-S.C. with antennas. A comparison with the available theoretical model is also reported.
