Abstract
A current copying principle based on the output resistance of a bipolar or unipolar transistor is proposed. Compared to the common unipolar transconductance-based technique, the range of current variations is reduced as is the sensitivity to errors in the memorised voltage. Noise may be reduced using (lateral) bipolar transistors.
