Abstract :
In order to realize a high-speed linear DC motor (LDM), it is desirable to maintain a constant kinetic thrust during a change in driving frequency. The measured value of the thrust constant of the 4-pole LDM is 60.7 N/A. The calculated values obtained by the permanence method and the finite element method (FEM) are 66.1 N/A and 62.8 N/A, respectively. Kinetic thrust at an exciting AC current of 1 A is 54.3 N at a frequency of 100 Hz. This thrust is 10.5% lower compared to the static thrust at an exciting DC current of 1 A
