Abstract :
The behaviour of industrial loads following planned and forced outages is analysed. Different types of industry are briefly described and a summary of the usual problems experienced during the restart is given. The data presented are based on measurements made by industries and power suppliers. Using these data, models of the load behaviour following planned and forced outages are proposed.
