Abstract :
An improved frame structure for TDS-OFDM systems is presented by adopting cyclic block shifted training sequences. The guard interval needed for the training sequences could be shortened while the ability to combat the maximum channel delay spread is not sacrificed. Therefore the spectrum efficiency is increased. The corresponding channel estimation and equalisation schemes are also illustrated.
