Abstract :
A novel transmission-line type high-frequency transformer has been developed by using a fine-grain Mn-Zn ferrite. The device consists of a fine-grain Mn-Zn ferrite core, polyimide insulator, copper planar winding and copper ground-plane, which operates as a distributed constant circuit. A quarter-wavelength transmission-line transformer with a large voltage-gain under high impedance termination has been investigated, and has been applied for high frequency power conversion
