Abstract :
The paper presents experimental results concerning the starting oscillation effect for an autonomous induction generator. These results show the importance of the values of the capacitor in parallel to the generator windings and the resistor in series with them. The resistor value is significant especially for small machines. The experimental results are connected with the known theories about autonomous induction generators
