Abstract :
This paper describes the use of computational intelligence techniques, in particular neuro-fuzzy systems and genetic algorithms, for modeling and optimizing electromagnetic devices with a high number of variables. A seven variable loudspeaker problem is investigated. The results obtained indicate the applicability of the various approaches
