Abstract
Voice coil type suspension elements have received much attention from many experimentalists due to the good cut-off characteristic for vibrational disturbances. To isolate experimental equipments from the storage rack in spacecraft and to realize an excellent microgravity environment, we have improved the magnet construction of a suspension element by using the axisymmetric finite element analysis. Results show that the variation of the forces can be successfully reduced and the improved suspension element provides a good cut-off characteristic
