Abstract :
In the past, the primary influence on British electrical installation practice has been the IEE Wiring Regulations, even though the regulations, in the main, have not been mandatory. The situation in the future is likely to change owing to the combined effects of international standardisation work, of Britain´s membership of the EEC, and of certain statutory regulations being promulgated under various Acts of Parliament.
