  • Abstract
A novel improved differential evolution (DE) algorithm, named self-adaptive neighborhood search differential evolution plus (SaNSDE+), is used to solve the wavelength detection problem in the wavelength-division-multiplexing (WDM) fiber Bragg grating (FBG) sensor network. The incorporation of the self-adaptive strategy results in an increased accuracy and detection speed for the conventional peak detection (CPD) technique in the FBG sensor network.
