Abstract :
In this paper, the far-field radiation-pattern equations for the pyramidal-horn antenna are derived and compared to measured data, and a Mathcad simulation is presented. The mathematical formulation given provides a comprehensive approach for the prediction of the far-field radiation pattern. Furthermore, the formulation can be modified and implemented with Mathcad for other types of aperture antennas
