  • Abstract
    The development period availability expectations for the AEP System Control Center (SCC) are contrasted with the first two years of operational experience. The reasons for in-service unavailability are presented and discussed. Recommendations are made relative to the inclusion of new factors into procurement phase availability calculations and acceptance tests.
