Abstract :
Leon Theodore Rosenberg died Wednesday, April 22, 1987 after only a week in the hospital. His eighty two years were active up to the last few days as you may be sure. Lee´s activities in IEEE and before that AIEE encompassed about sixty years. He, of course, reached the status of Life Fellow and was the first recipient of the Nicola Tesla Award. Dr. Ichiro Hano, Professor emeritus of Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan, passed away at the age of 88 on the 15th of April, 1987.
