Abstract :
Unstable fine plasma motions governed by MHD instability are studied by means of fully 3-D simulations. Numerical simulations on the helical-toroidal coordinate system not only enable us to study the theoretical aspects of the unstable motions but also help in understanding the instrumental observations in experiments. Plasma motions governed by the ballooning instability and the image with the large helical device CAD data are presented.
