Abstract
Robots are misunderstood by a very large section of the population. The science fiction fan sees Daleks, Star Wars characters or the obedient robots of Isaac Asimov´s Invention. The housewife may imagine a robot housekeeper and cleaner; the factory worker may envisage a lost job. Even managers may expect too much of the robot system they plan to install or allow too little for the attitudes of the men and women who have to work among them
