Abstract :
An important milestone in software ownership was reached at the end of January 2006 ?? one that went unnoticed by the majority of enterprise users, yet one that will affect users everywhere. We´re talking of the official release, by the International Standards Organisation (ISO), of the the Final Draft International Standard (FDIS) 19770-1 ?? a brand new ISO standard that deals with Software Asset Management.
