  • Abstract
    A combined source adaptive and channel optimised vector quantisation (CSACOVQ) algorithm is presented, which combines the non-stationary nature of the source with a noisy channel. It is simulated for the Wiener process and for a binary symmetric channel and shows a performance improvement compared with the channel optimised vector quantisation (COVQ) algorithm
