Abstract :
Due to increasing demand of various compression techniques, there is also a huge need of compression of an image. Compression of an image in data storage and transformation is very important and valuable, for this purpose researchers are always looking for different techniques to resolve this issue. Today various standardized image compression techniques which are still in use such as PNG, JPEG and WAVELET, DCT but here a new technique has been introduced for image compression is KMK technique. The technique used here is extremely helpful in reducing data storage and transformation without any loss in an image.
