Abstract :
A method for coordinated tuning of power system regulators (AVR, PSS, SVC, etc.) to improve damping of small disturbed oscillations for a variety of power systems operating conditions is given. The method is based on multi parameter numerical optimization to shift eigenvalues of interest to the left on the complex plane. The advanced POISK software which utilizes the proposed method is described
