  • Abstract
    First of all, I am very pleased to announce that our request to increase the 2011 budget for the Chapter Activities Committee from $30,000 to $40,000 was approved by the AP-S AdCom at its winter meeting. The additional funds made available will enable us to help more Chapters better serve our members. At the time of writing this column, we still have a small amount of funds available. Chapters are encouraged to make the funding requests, so that they can organize more technical and/or social activities if they have not done so. The request form for annual support is available at the AP-S Web page: http://www.ieeeaps.org/ chapters.html.
