Abstract
An improvement is made to the process of bad data detection in state estimation when the magnitude order of these bad data is far from 1 p.u. The analysis is carried out verifying the error limits in the measurements that make erroneous detection. Simulations have been carried out so that we obtain a spectrum of values that shows the dependence of the boundary detection of the bad data on its magnitude order. The results obtained in the case studied show how the feasibility in the detection of a bad data depends on its magnitude order.
