Abstract :
This paper proposes a new quasi-current-resonant DC-link AC/AC pulsewidth modulation (PWM) power converter. Because the proposed circuit realizes zero-current switching for all switching devices using the current resonance, the switching losses and EMI are reduced. The proposed circuit with thyristors also realizes high-frequency switching. The output currents and voltages are precisely controlled to be a sinusoidal wave using PWM techniques
