Abstract
Continuous investment injection needed for social development. However, the precious data show that acceleration of investment to economy is not always motionless, and sometimes even negative correlation happens. To find out the relationship between investment and social development, this paper based on the internal structure of investment studies the relation evolution between production and consumption investment and social development. Utilizing factor analysis and grey relational analysis, the paper synthetically evaluates social development. The results show that compared with consumption investment, production has closer correlation with social development, but the superiority is declining these years. Meanwhile, the supply effect of investment is more obvious than its demand effect. The paper also concludes the theories and empirical analysis, and makes the analysis of Chinese investment structure and social development in the short-term and long-term.
