Abstract :
Partial discharge location is a powerful and useful tool for the maintenance and operation of electrical power distribution cables and has attracted tremendous research and development effort since the 1980´s. Questions regarding location estimation and selection of system parameters remain unanswered. In this paper, we give theoretical attention to these questions via the Cramer-Rao lower bound analysis
